Oh m'gosh! Technique Junkies has brought the wow yet again! I can't wait for you to check out all the new stamps for August, PLUS brand new product! And the cool part is that you can save up to 25% on your purchases. (Read on for details!)

I have several projects to share today. Here is a sneak peek!

There are FIFTEEN brand new stamps! You can see the whole collection HERE. I had the pleasure of playing with several of them, and I'm excited to share these projects with you.  Here we go....

I instantly fell in love with Desert Landscape Border (SD925). I could picture a beautiful sunset highlighting the cactus shadows. I used watercolor paper and created a pink, yellow and orange sky with Gansai Tambi Watercolors. I stamped and embossed the image, trimmed it down, and attached it to a black card base.  The sentiment is an OBG (oldie but goodie - you'll be seeing several of these in this post) that goes perfectly with this scene. It's called Life is Beautiful (SDX099). I simply stamped and embossed in white. Perfect finish for this card!

This card was so fun and easy! I stamped and embossed I'll Be Watching You (SD957) on the center of my panel. Using Shimmering Bliss Sprays, I added a mesmerizing background in Festive Flamingo, Vivid Volt and Mindaro. Don't you just love that shimmer?! I added a little black flecking (is that really a word?) with my black blow pen (I know these are for kids, but I use them all the time...a lot less messy than flicking paint!). I attached the panel to a white card base that I had edged with an Urban Graphite Nuvo Glitter Marker. A few embellishments and this card is done!

This stamp is another special design from the Jan Tink (Janine Tinklenburg) Collection. Her nature drawing skills are crazy awesome! This particular one is called Echinacea (JT015). For this card, I stamped and embossed in gold on 110# cardstock. Using Tombow Markers, I colored in the image and the background. I trimmed down the piece and edged it with a Golden Ochre glitter marker from the Nuvo Ember Glow Set. I added a beautiful sheen to the piece using Gold Shimmering Bliss Topper Spray. I matted the piece with gold cardstock and attached it to a black card base. I added a simple charm I made eons ago using Shrinky Dinks. It was the perfect finishing touch to this beautiful shimmering card.

This sentiment just got me! I am a huge animal lover and was so happy to add Fur Baby (SDK149) to my collection. It paired beautifully with another OBG called Buddies (S675). This card was super simple. I just stamped the image with Gray Flannel Memento Ink and added it to a red cardstock covered card base. The sentiment was stamped on the same red cardstock, trimmed down and attached to the card. I added a tiny paw print button to finish off the card. So stinkin' cute!

OUTSIDE
INSIDE

This card was created using the newest Inside Out set. There are several pairs of sentiments included for both outside and inside your cards. The set contains 10 stamps. Inside Out: For The Girls (SS110) gives a lot of fun and snarky bang for yer buck! Since anyone who knows me knows I am a Flamingo girl, it is no surprise that I chose this sentiment and these particular stamps to accompany it! For the background, I stamped an OBG, Flamingos Background (S789) using Angel Pink Memento Ink. I then added (another OBG) Flamingo 1 (SD890) in black ink and colored it in with Raspberry Tart Glitter Marker from the Nuvo Northern Lights set. For the legs, I used Crushed Papaya from the Nuvo Ember Glow SetI basically repeated the background for the inside of the card, and stamped the sentiment inside and outside in black ink. I added a few jewels and a washi tape border to finish off the card.

Hope you aren't sick of me yet, cuz I have a couple more cards to show you!

This sentiment, Internet Browser (SD924)! It is SO ME!!!! And paired with The Happy Housewife (SD947), released a couple of months ago, it makes a fantastic, funny card. I stared with a gray card base. I stamped the sentiment in Love Bug Memento Ink then created a rough mask over the left part of the stamped image. I then stamped the housewife in black in  over the top. I used a fine marker to add a squiggly border. I love the simplicity of the card. That sentiment and her look just says it all!

This stamp just cracked me up. Prickly (SD917) is the perfect apology card sentiment! I stamped the image with Bamboo Leaves Memento Ink and colored it in using Tombow markers. I had just purchased a small pad that had this cactus paper in it and couldn't believe how well they went together! The paper was trimmed down and attached to my card base. Once my image was trimmed, I matted it with green cardstock and attached it to the card with foam tape. No  embellishments needed on this one! (I'm linking this one up on the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge.)

And last, but not least...a NON-CARD!

I absolutely love this sentiment. It is very calming. I paired Grain of Sand with some beach background paper I had. This was from a 6x6 paper pack. I just trimmed it down and stamped the image in black. It was too pretty to put on a card and give away! So, I framed it instead in a Dollar Tree frame I had laying around. It now sits on my desk. When things get stressful, I can just gaze on this beautiful scene and sentiment. It was fast, easy, and inexpensive!

I know I shared a LOT of cards with you today. I hope I didn't overwhelm you. But when I get a new batch of stamps that inspire me, I can't help but create. And I'm so happy to have you all to share them with!

Ro, what an amazing collection of cards! Just laughed out loud at the previously released "mom" image with the internet browser sentiment. That sentiment is my favorite of this release.
