NUVO EMBOSSING POWDER CHART

Hey, stampin' friends! Just a quick post today. I use a lot of Nuvo Embossing Powder in my projects. I wanted to track which ones I had so when I went shopping I didn't accidentally buy duplicates.

I love when charts are available for me to stamp an image in different inks, or show which pens or pencils I have in my collection. But I couldn't find any for the Nuvo EPs. So I created one for myself. One with the colors added from their online swatches, and one blank so that I could stamp and emboss an image with each one I owned. That way I could easily see which ones I have and also what they will actually look like in person when I use them.

I got to thinking somebody else out there might find this helpful too, so I am attaching both files here.

Let me know if you like them, or if there are any other "charts" you would like to see that haven't already been created.

Til next time,
Keepin' it inky!

Stamp(s) Used:
- Cardinal (JT023)
- Victorian Greetings, Set of 6 (JT030)

Other Products Used:
- Derwent Inktense Pencils

I love, love, LOVE this cardinal! To make the card, I stamped the image and trimmed it around the bird and branches. I die cut a frame from woodgrain patterned paper and attached it to the bird with the head and tail on the top of the frame. This was then attached to black cardstock, and mounted on the white card base. I splattered white watercolor paints on the entire card. The sentiment was stamped and heat embossed, then die cut and attached to the card front.

Stamp(s) Used:
- Meowy Christmas, Set of 2 (JT029)

Other Products Used:
- Spectrum Noir Colored Pencils
- Super Fine Glitter
- Ranger Glossy Accents

I stamped the image and sentiment on kraft cardstock, then heat embossed them in white. I added a little more white on the cat with colored pencils, trimmed down the panel, matted with red cardstock, then attached it to the card base. I added some glossy accents to the ornaments then dusted the entire piece with super fine iridescent glitter. I tied two small bows from red ribbon and adhered them to the ornaments.

This set of pooches is just the cutest addition for your Christmas Cards. For this card, I die cut the green frame, then traced on white cardstock where the openings would appear. I masked each opening and stamped the images where I wanted them. Using an Ink Blending Brush, I added ink to the background of the sentiment with IZink Ink in Menthe. After coloring the dog images, I added a little sparkle to each one with the Gel Pens. I added a couple more matted layers to the card base, along with the main focal image, then added some gems for just a touch more sparkle.

- Perfect Pearls
- Spellbinders Holiday Greetings Dies

This card came together fairly quickly! I stamped the adorable background with Versamark, then used Perfect Pearls to add a shimmery highlight to the image. I trimmed down the piece and attached it to the top portion of the card base. I die cut the images from white card stock, layering the deer three times for a little more sturdiness. Then I attached those pieces to the card panel, and cut the deer one more time out of the teal cardstock to inlay into the white deer frame. With that beautiful shimmery background, nothing else was needed!

These gorgeous poinsettias come in two different sizes with two sentiments. I randomly stamped both images on the white panel, colored them in, then trimmed the panel down to mount on a black backer. The sentiment was stamped in black ink, and a generous spritz of Iridescent Spray was added to give the piece a stunning shimmer. The panel was then attached to a pink card base, and I added a few clear gems for interest.
