OF COURSE I am going to start off with a Flamingo!!! (Hello!!!) This one just tickled me pink (tee hee). For those of you who want a beachy vibe to your Christmas cards, this stamp is definitely for you!

These stamps, y'all! Wowza! I paired a beautiful snowy scene background (glitter and all) with one of the adorable gnomes, and a sentiment from the Oh Christmas Tree set. I love the whimsy of the gnome with the elegant background.

BAH HUMBUG

Is this kitty critter cute or what?! I love him. Those eyes! For those of you who want to express a more grinchy type of sentiment, you can't go wrong with this one! I layered up some pretty holly paper and added Mr. Humbug on a white panel matted with red. All of the stars are very twinkle-y!

INSIDE OUT: 12 COOKES (Set of 10)

Just look at this fun background created with one stamp! I love the simplicity. I added one of the sentiments from Inside Out. Makes a very cute card!

GNOME FOR CHRISTMAS (Set of 6)

Snow Swirls

Here's another adorable gnome from this new set. There are three of them, each one cuter than the other. I paired him with a sentiment from that set as well. The background is one of my favorites from last year. I added a "sprig" of red wire behind the sentiment to add a little shiny interest.

HANDS REACHING OUT

 I have a quickie post for you today featuring a fun card created using the Hands Reaching Out stamp from Technique Junkies. I've been having a blast with this stamp! Check this one out!

Fun, right? For this card, I simply inked the edges of a purple piece of cardstock using a dark purple ink. On a smaller piece of orange cardstock, I created a simple tombstone mat and inked the headstones in a grey ink, added the RIP's with a marker. I then stamped the hands stamp in a dark black ink, and inked the panel with the dark purple ink. I sprayed it using Shimmering Bliss Iridescent Topper spray. I attached both pieces to a card base, added a piece of washi tape and a few mirror gems, then stamped the sentiment, also from Technique Junkies, called Wicked Halloween.

A quick, easy card for Halloween.

BE A FRUITLOOP

I created a fun fold card to feature this adorable stamp. What a fun stamp to color! I used my beloved Polychromos for the coloring on this one after stamping with Versafine Clair Ink.

I GOT THIS FOR YOU

Oh My Gosh! I LOVE this stamp! As a cat owner, I totally appreciate the humor here. I stamped it with Versafine Clair Ink and added some matting and whimsical background papers, along with a couple of enamel elements, to create this fun card!

GNOMIES FOREVER, SET OF 11

This super fun and trendy stamp set is sure to create lots of smiles with it's set of 11 stamps (which includes six different sentiments and five adorable gnomes). I had so much fun coloring in these cute lil guys! I used my Brother Scan-N-Cut to do my fussy-cutting for me and added them to a fun background paper. I popped up a couple of the guys for a little more dimension.

A LITTLE BIT OF MARILYN
Paired with Marilyn (not a new stamp)

This is such a great sentiment! And, of course, I just HAD to pair it up with the Marilyn stamp. The bold red background totally complements the lightly colored image. And what would a Marilyn card be without "diamonds"?

CIRCULAR VINES
Paired with Enjoy Every Moment (not a new stamp)

I love the elegant look you can create with this beautiful background stamp. I began by creating a gorgeous shimmery background with Harvest Sunset Shimmering Bliss. I then stamped and embossed the background stamp and sentiment. The sentiment was die cut with a shadow die.

Paired with Simple Sentiments 2A (not new)

Don't you just love this background? I enjoyed coloring this with my colored pencils. I didn't want to take away from this beautiful design, so I added a simple, popped up sentiment.

I am in absolute LOVE with this stamp! I stamped it in black ink and colored it in with Polychromos Pencils. A little sticker border and stamped sentiment finished off the card.

DANDELIONS IN THE WIND (S866) - NEW!
Weed or Wish (SD694)

I happen to love dandelions. Whether they are sunny yellow or ready to blow in the wind. The beauty of these dainty blooms was captured by using silver embossing powder. I added a silver edge to the panel with Nuvo Glimmer Markers, and the sentiment is from an older set (another dandelion favorite of mine) stamped with black ink on silver cardstock.

FLORAL CARD FRAME (S872) - NEW!
Kindness Matters (SDX026)

This frame stamp is so delicate and so elegant. I felt all it needed was a very simple sentiment. The image was stamped in black ink and the flowers were colored with markers.

WISH UPON A STARFISH (SD1031) - NEW!

What a fun stamp! The image was stamped on a card panel and masked off. I added some blow marker spray in blue and green. The image was colored in with both Nuvo Glimmer Markers and Kaisercraft Gel Pens. Both pen types add a wonderful shimmer and sparkle to your colored projects.

MODERN DANDELIONS (S868) - NEW!Simple Sentiments Set 2 Style B (SS02b)

Another absolutely adorable dandelion stamp makes its debut this month. This is going to be a fun one to play with...I have so many ideas! For this one, I stamped and embossed the flowers, added some gold stickers, and stamped the sentiment in black onto gold cardstock.

STAYS AT THE BEACH (SD1030) - NEW!

What an absolutely adorable stamp! Love the little top hat and pearls! You could change out the sentiment and this would make an adorable wedding or anniversary card! For this card, I stamped the image in black in and used both Polychromos Pencils and Nuvo Glitter Markers to add some color and shine. I found some sand printed paper for a background and added a couple of small shells to finish off the card.

HANGING WITH MY GNOMIES

HANGING WITH MY GNOMIES is a truly fun stamp. The gnomes and sentiment come together on one stamp...three gnomes and the sentiment. I stamped it several times and cut out each gnome separately to adhere to a step card. Fun, right?

FIVE FAB PHRASES, SET OF 10

FIVE FAB PHRASES is a great set for general card-making. It includes the sentiments "Hello," "Smile," "Dream," "Enjoy," Happy," "Simply" to name a few. I created a washi tape background to complement the bold Hello. I love how simply elegant this card turned out.

OLD MAN
INSIDE OUT: OLD FART, SET OF 10

I am so glad TJ released this OLD MAN stamp! I've used the Happy Housewife so many times in my snarky cards. It's good to have a male version now! lol

And paired with him on this card is another in the Inside Out Series: OLD FART. If you love funny, snarky sentiments, this set will definitely tickle your fancy. There are sentiments for both the outside AND the inside...five sets of them to be exact!

SHOOT FOR THE MOON

I have always loved this saying. And I love that it is now available in a stamp. SHOOT FOR THE MOON stands out beautifully on the dark cardstock sprayed with Iridescent Shimmering Bliss.

Inks and Stamps and Brushes...Oh My!

I love the Fall and all the beautiful colors Mother Nature has to share (albeit for a very short time). It is these colors that inspired the card I have to share with you today.

I attended a recent Stamp Show in Sevierville, TN where I got to do some demo's for the fabulous Technique Junkies (thanks, Pat!!!). Of course, I just HAD to pick up some new stamps while I was there. This one just caught my eye. I immediately saw in my head what I wanted the card to look like, inspired by the colors of Fall. As soon as I got home, I pulled out my IZINK Ink Pads, Ink Blending Brushes, and the Bare Tree Duo stamp, and created this festive Thanksgiving card.

I absolutely adore how this came together so easily to create such a stunning card. I think Mother Nature would be proud. The photo below shows the additional products I used.

After stamping the image on cream CS, I used the blending brushes to add the colorful areas on the trees and on the ground. The piece was trimmed down, the edges highlighted with the Iced Americano marker, matted on Kraft CS, then adhered to a brown card base. The sentiment is from the Thanksgiving Blessings set, which I also picked up at the show.

I kept the inside of the card simple using another sentiment from the Thanksgiving Blessings set.
