Let's go to the fun stuff!
Basic supplies may include: Misti; CutAlign Tools; various inks pads including the new IZink Inks, Ink Blending Brushes; cardstock, vellum and adhesives; paper trimmer, scissors and/or Xacto knife; heat tool; embossing powder
Stamp(s) Used:
- Autumn Framed Sentiments (SS112)
TJ Products Used:
- Kaisercraft Gel Pens
- Shimmering Bliss Topper: Gold
This set comes with three different sentiments and the beautiful leaves borders. I flipped the borders from their intended design. The kraft cardstock and the brown paper complement the beautiful gold embossing. Spectrum Noir colored pencils were used to color the leaves.
Stamp(s) Used:
- Pumpkin
- Leaves Turn
This card was fun to create. I lightly stamped the image on vellum and using an embossing stylus and mouse pad, outlined all the elements. I then colored in the image with Zig Clean Color Realbrush Markers. I flipped the image over (which is why it's reversed from the stamped image) and cut it out with a die. I used the same die to create a frame, attached both pieces together, and mounted it on the card base. I added the sentiment to the bottom of the card. I love how soft the pumpkin appears on the vellum.
Stamp(s) Used:
- Happy Howl-O-Ween
Another fun one to create. I chose a purple cardstock to similate a Halloween night and heat embossed the image with white embossing powder. I colored in the image with Spectrum Noir Colored Pencils and trimmed the piece down. I added some orange ribbon for a border, then attached the piece to the card base with foam tape to give it a little more dimension. Using a white gel pen, I added a little bit of stars to the night sky. This image is so adorable. It's another one from the Mitten State Stamps Collection by Janine Tinklenberg.
Stamp(s) Used:
- Many Paws (SD979)
- Crazy Cat Border (SD798) *Not a new release
TJ Products Used:
- Aladine IZink Dye Ink Pads
- Kaisercraft Gel Pens
Since cats want equal time, this cute release features a funny sentiment with some adorable kitties. On a piece of orange cardstock, I stamped the background and trimmed the panel down. I inked the edges to give it definition. I inked a lighter orange piece of cardstock on the edges, and mounted both pieces to the card base. On a goldenrod colored cardstock, I stamped the image and added highlights with the Gel Pens. After trimming that piece down and attached to the card, I added a couple of gemstones for interest.
Stamp(s) Used:
- Sweeter
TJ Products Used:
- Nuvo Glitter Markers
I've nicknamed this chick "Stella". She is cracking me up! I stamped and embossed this image on some lavender cardstock and colored it in with colored pencils. I drew in a messy little border and trimmed the piece down. To the card base, I added a piece of decorative paper which was matted and wrapped with a purple ribbon. Stella's hat got a little shimmer by using a Nuvo Glitter Marker. A couple of gems to finish off the card, and she is Stylin'!
